Leap Frog Leapster Learning System By goofy274 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The LeapFrog Leapster Learning System is a handheld game for preschoolers up to 4th grade. It does have 2 games built in, however you will need to purchase additional games for the system. They games are very educational which was exactly what we were looking for when we purchased it for our two sons. It teaches letters, numbers, spelling, math, colors and much more. It's a very durable product as it has been dropped many times with no problems.

Although we do love this product especially because of the educational aspect and the fact that the boys can take it anywhere. Which is very helpful for long car trips!! However it does in my opinion have some negative points. They have a limited supply of games and some are very hard to find. Also I don't find it keeps my 7 year old's interest for as long as it does with my 4 year old.

Overall I feel this is a good product, especially for younger children who want gameboys like their older siblings but are too young to play them. It's a fun and educational experience for your children.
