My son is almost 5 and has enjoyed this leapfrog phonics bus. The price is a bit much for me for one toy, although it is educational. It just doesn't have a whole lot you can do on it besides the alphabet, although it covers the alphabet thoroughly.

I think it could be recommended for a younger age. My son enjoyed listening to the songs and pushing it around when he was super little, about a year old. As he got older he enjoyed the different things it does. This will sing songs, tell you the letter and the sound it makes or play a game where you pick the letter. I taught my son the letters of the alphabet using this toy and the sounds. We would sit down together and just use the letter the part. I do think now that he is almost 5 though that he is too old for this and it is something we'll be selling soon. From ages 1-3 we used it most.
