Leap Frog Word Whammer By dlh2018 on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

I purchased this toy for my 4 year old daughter to help her with letter sounds. She currently sees a speech therapist and I thought this would be useful in pronunciation of letters. It is very convenient that she can play with on her lap and it sticks to a refrigerator or a black board surface. It includes 32 letters and you can purchase additional letters at retail stores. She and I can create 325 words and the toy teaches letter names, letter sounds, three-letter words, and learning songs. It also has a volume control which is great for parents and siblings so she does not disturb us. It has learning activity games which are letter hunt, word builder, and word hunt. The toy also plays the alphabet song which she enjoys and will help her learn the L-M-N-O-P instead of some other language. I think this toy was an exceptional buy for the money.
