Leaps Phonic Pond By Leap Frog By 999frights on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Leap's Phonic Pond is a great learning tool for your child. It is really entertaining and makes learning the alphabet fun. All of the consanants are on fish and all of the vowels are on frogs, so it is easy to separate the vowels and point those out.

There are many play settings on the Pond. One setting, you push a letter and it will say its name. Another will ask you to find a specific letter. Another one will sound out the letter you push. Our favorite is the spelling setting. You can pick any 3 letters and it will sound it out, making a word. Of course if you do all consanants, it just makes the sounds. This was great practice for my son when he was starting to spell.

The last setting plays music. Each letter you press makes a different song. It is truly fun and educational. It is also durable and has survived many bumps and falls.
