Learning fun while playing video games
By MaryLynn onMost parents are careful when buying video games for their children due to fear of the violent content that most systems features in the games that are available. I found a game system that combines learning skills with video game adventures. The VTech VSmile Learning System is reasonably priced and the games that you buy for it won't break the bank, most game cartridges run around $15.It is recommended for ages 3-7 years old. Along with the console it comes with a joystick that has a writing pen attached, microphone, and one game cartridge. The game cartridge that is included is called "Alphabet Park", my daughter loves this game. "Alphabet Park" has sing alongs, letter tracing, and a fun learning adventure. There is 2 options for power for the system, You can rely on 4 "AA" batteries or a 9volt power pack that is both sold seperatly. The only complaint that I have with the system is that if the game cartridge gets removed before the system has time to turn off, the system will have to be reset by removing the batteries and reinserting or pulling the power cord and reconnecting it. even with that it is well worth the money and your child will love it as much as my daughter did.

I think I would be really annoyed with having to reset it all the time. But I suppose that's better than the other option... that the game is damaged.
