My recent birthday gift of a Kindle 2 was something I definitely wanted to protect, so I was able to find a great leather case for it on eBay. My husband gave the case to me as a followup gift to my Kindle 2.

This leather case is made by Trendy Digital and does a great job of protecting my Kindle. It is just a basic case, nothing fancy, which is what I was looking for. The Kindle 2 fits into a pocket on the right side of the case, which has cutouts for the screen, the keyboard, and the buttons located on both the right and left side of the Kindle, as well as the on/off switch at the top and the battery charging port at the bottom. The case has magnets in the corners which will keep it closed until I choose to open it. It comes in basic black and really is a very nice and functional case for my Kindle 2. The leather is very soft and supple, and I feel good knowing my Kindle 2 is protected.

I advise anyone fortunate enough to own a Kindle to purchase a case for its protection. You won't be sorry.
