I love wearing chaps when riding with my husband. These are great for protecting me from the wind. They also give me extra protection from bugs. I must say when those bugs hit you , they hurt. So these chaps come in handy for that reason alone. They are even light in weight. So it is not so bad wearing them and the weather turns warmer from when you started out. Or when riding for a long distance. They are very comfortable too. I find that because they fit to the contour of my body so nicely, that this is what makes them so comfortable. I also like that these are easy to strap on and off. I just love the look and style of these because there is no other way to look great when riding on a bike. And to be comfortable and looking good at the same time is well worth the money on these. My husband and I both own a pair of these. These even have adjustable waists. Only problem is we don't get to ride much becasue we need to always find a babysitter for the kids.

I can relate about the bugs. I've been hit by quite a few of them and they do hurt. These chaps must protect your legs from those small pebbles too.

I didn't even think about high velocity bugs hitting your legs, I'm sure these help take out that sting quite well.
Hook up a side car and take the kids with you! They have chaps for kids too, I believe. Winter is here, so have fun riding in the snow.
