Legally Blonde 2 follows the smash hit legally blonde, which stars Reese Witherspoon as now lawyer Elle Woods. In this sequel, the blonde lawyer tries to ban animal testing when she finds out that the mother of her pet dog is locked in a cosmetics testing facility.

While I thought the first movie was witty and funny, this movie did not live up to it. The story was even more unbelievable, but this time the plot line was dull. I was not entertained by seeing Elle Woods parade around DC in all her blonde lawyer-y glory.

In order to make this movie a hit, I think the storyline would have needed to change drastically. While the characters and plot were a winner for the first movie, they did not carry over well into a sequel. If you watch this movie, do not expect it to be in the same class as the first one!
