Lego Adventures In Bikini Bottom By Mean_Queen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is our first venture into the world of Lego building, other than the little duplos and so far I'm very overwhelmed. With this kit, you can build Spongebob's pineapple, Patrick's rock, Squidward's house, and a few other tiny projects. My 8 year old daughter begged for this because she loves Spongebob and wants to get into Lego building. I liked the product because once it's done, you can actually play with it rather than just stare at it like other Lego projects. Spongebob's Pineapple house is supposed to open up as does Patrick's rock. We have started building this, but there are just SO many parts. I do not recommend this as a first Lego project. The instructions are good and detailed, but with so many pieces, I wonder if we'll ever finish. If you are an experienced Lego builder, this will probably be a great project for any Spongebob lover. It really is cool because the inside of the Pineapple has a basketball hoop to play with, there's a catapult, and a boat. It also includes a Lego Spongebob, Patrick and Squidward. I do hope my daughter finishes it, but I just think this is not a good first Lego project.

Try the Krusty Krab set, it wasn't too terribly complicated, and it was our first big Lego set!
