Lego Star Wars Jabba's Sail Barge By Mom2One on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
My son has wanted this Lego Star Wars Jabba Sail Barge for quite a while. The price was kind of high so I wasn't sure if it would be worth it. He received it as a gift and I have been very pleased with it.
It has 781 pieces and the Sail Barge when put together measures 18 inches. The Barge includes a swiveling gun, which is a cool feature. It also comes with the Sarlacc Pit, which is a great addition. The doors on the Barge open and close. The set comes with some very awesome mini figures; of course Jabba the Hut, but also R2-D2 with drink server, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Gammorean Guard, Boba Fett and the rare skiff Lando Calrissian.
It took my son over a couple days to finish this Lego model. The insturctions were simple and fairly easy to follow. The details on the finished product were awesome and very close to the actual picture on the box. The model itself is sturdy and the pieces stay together.
I would say this really is one of the better larger Star Wars Lego sets out there. Although it is kind of expensive, I feel it really is worth the price.

Wow have lego gotten expensive. I am glad your son was able to complete the 781 piece lego model! That is incredible and I am sure it was a ton of fun!
My boys at 15 and 17 still love Lego's. This set sounds perfect for those days when kids drive you crazy wanting something to do.
My son has been asking for this for a while but it has so many pieces I know he would never be able to do it. You do not say how old your son is but for him at any age to finish this in a couple of days is pretty amazing.
This sounds like a nice lego set for a Star Wars fan. It seems like it kept your son busy.
Well, it sounds like a great toy and it was probably worth it after spending the time putting it together. I agree it was a little pricey, but it sounds like it was worth it!
I remember when Star Wars first came out, my brother had to have all the Star Wars toys he could find! I guess they are still popular! Sounds like a fun set.
I bet this is a lot of fun to put together. It is a little expensive though, but I'm sure it looks really nice!
My husband would love this!! You are right-Legos are not as cheap as they used to be-they are so detailed & intricate!!
Legos are a good investment too! I'm 14 and I still play with them now and then. (although I am slightly immature)
