Lenovo Thinkpad T61 By Amitface By amitface on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I recently bought a Lenovo Thinkpad T61 Laptop for college.

The Thinkpad is a very well known laptop, as they were originally manufactured by IBM. They have been known for their excellent build, and ability to withstand rough use, such as drops and water damage. However, a few years ago, IBM put Lenovo in charge of the Thinkpad line.

The computer I bought is a 2.2 gHz Core 2 Duo Processor with a 15" Widescreen. It is a gorgeous looking machine, with it's slick black casing and minimalist approach to the design. It is a very powerful computer and can handle all daily tasks and most CPU intensive tasks.

The computer is much lighter than most 15" laptops out today. It stays relatively cool throughout the day and has approximately 5 hours of battery life when using minimal settings.

I strongly recommend this laptop. I expect it to last me many more years.
