Leona Lewis Spirit CD

I don't buy CD's very often unless it is from an artist that I am a big fan of or on that rare ocassion where I like one song so much that I am willing to purchase the entire CD. The Leona Lewis Spirit CD is that rare ocassion and the song is the worldwide #1 smash "Bleeding Love".

I had heard of Leona Lewis many months before she became popular in the US and wondered what the buzz was about. She had won UK's version of "American Idol". called X Factor. She became a hit over seas several months before being introduced to the US. After hearing her debut single, I knew she was going to be a hit in the US also.

The CD contains 11 tracks plus 2 UK Bonus Tracks. There is not a bad track on the CD. There are 4 tracks that standout for me though. My favorite is of course "Bleeding Love". My second favorite is "Take a Bow". No this not her version of the Rhianna song but the content is similiar. It is another midtempo song similiar to"Bleeding Love". I also like her follow-up single "Better in Time". Another mid-tempo song about moving on after a break-up. "Forgive Me" is the only up-tempo track on the entire CD. That is my only complaint. It makes the CD a little dull but it is one of those rare CD's that I can listen to all the way through without pushing the skip button on the CD player.
