I have been a Bank of America customer for several years and have just in the last 2 years begun using their online banking services and I don't know how I managed to have time to do all I did before I began banking and paying bills like this. It is so easy and takes VERY little time to take care of your business in a safe way. There are a lot of people who don't like the idea of putting their personal business online but folks it is already out there, why not take advantage of the convenience? It was very easy to set up the bill pay feature, all I needed was account numbers and addresses and the bank cuts them a check and mails it out unless it can be done by electronic deposit. I pay everything from credit card bills, mortgage payments and insurance policies. It saves a huge amount on stamps and imagine how many trees we're saving by cutting out all those unnecessary mounds of paper sent out daily via mail. The safety factor is a concern of many, those who are worried about your ID being stolen or your account being hacked into, I can offer this... The steps you go thru to access your account become second nature very quickly but the steps are in place to protect you and your money. There is also a guarantee from Bank of America that they will stand behind their customers and their money, not to mention if you have the Visa Debit card Visa also backs you. I feel completely comfortable doing any and all of my banking business online with Bank of America.
