Let The Adventure Begin. By godfrey884 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
My 3 year old daughter loves the backyardigans. Every time we go shopping she make it a point to point out anything to do with the Backyardigans.
While at Bj's wholesale club around Christmas she kept seeing the Big Top circus, she really wanted this toy. So she did end up getting it for Christmas, the one she got was the bonus pack which included the train.
The Backyardigans Circus plays the theme song to the show, then when you push the button on the top of the house the adventure starts, the house opens to a three ring circus tent. This set included 3 figures show master Tyroon, high dive Pablo and clown Uniqua, all the figures are bobble heads, when they are placed on the front of the tent and you pull the lever they will dance to the music. The bonus train also place music and makes train sounds.
This came mostly together there was just a few things that had to be done to complete it like attach the house to the base, attach the swing and other little things. It runs on 3 AA batteries, ages 18 months +.
My daughter has had this now for 6 months, I think she may have played with maybe a handful of times, she likes to play with the figures more then they actual circus tent, she has the figures with her almost always. In my opinion I would have been better off just buying her the figures then the whole circus tent.
The one negative I do have about this toy is there is no volume control, and when it sings it is super LOUD. So unless you really like the theme song the backyardigans this gets really annoying quick.
Fisher Price Backyardigans Big Top Circus. Purchased at: BJ'D wholesale Price: $34.99

Sometimes the "parts" are better than the "whole" with kids!
I watched this show with my granddaughter when she was younger. I liked the show and this would be a great thing to remind her of all the fun times we had watching the show together. Too bad the volume does't have a way to control it. That is a bad thing especially for the little one's sensitive ears.
My daughter likes the Backyardigans. I think maybe I'll take your advice and just get the figures.
Their your backyard friends, the backyardigans. I love this show too. Great music. My son never did get into the toys though, he was a little older when the show first started.
