Let The Paintballs Rain! By Maliki2 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Since I have played paintball since around the late 80s, I have been into collecting different markers. Awhile back I remember hearing about Brass Eagles Rainmaker semi auto marker. I had never seen one in action, and Brass Eagle didn't have the best name in paintball at the time.

I owned a old BE Nightmare Comp marker a few years after playing, and I loved the thing to death. It was a steal machine. Anyway, I was surfing paintball sites a few years ago when I stumbled upon the Rainmaker. They were selling brand new units for $99. Mind you I have heard alot of stories about the Rainmaker, but I couldn't turn this down. I purchased it. Remember BE stopped making these years ago, apparently someone quite a few left from inventory.

The Rainmaker has electronic controlled firing which allows it up to 12 BPS. Not up to snuff for these days but definitely enough back during its original release. Vertical feed, 45 style grip, and double finger trigger.

Although not the top marker these days, the Rainmaker is a exceptional marker considering the technological breakthroughs that are part of Paintball now. And for $99 I got a great deal, just wish I would have purchased more.
