Let Your Preschooler Vacuum The House! By circusmama on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
My children received this toy for Christmas and it has been one of their favorites. At first they would fight about who got to vacuum all time, but now that we've worked out an elaborate system involving the timer, this toy has brought a lot of enjoyment to our house.
The vacuum itself is very realistic, down to actually picking up a little bit of dirt. However, it could have been better made. The plastic piece which covers the attachments has a tendency to snap off easily, and the hose broke almost immediately. If they had designed it to attach right to the base of the vacuum, maybe it would have fared a little better.
Overall, the realism of the vacuum triumphs the lack of quality in its manufacturing. The kids really enjoy it, and by the time it is completely in pieces they will most likely be too tall for it anyhow. I would recommend it to moms of preschoolers anywhere.

A child of one of my friends brought a toy vacuum over to my house and I can honestly say there has NEVER been a toy more annoyingly loud and disruptive than that vacuum. I sure hope this one is much more peaceful?
Cleaning is one of the best educations your child can get. I wish my kids learned it early.
Ah... and if only the child's love of pretending to clean extended to actually even being willing to clean when it isn't pretend any more!
This sounds great. Especially for the little ones that like to do what mommy does all the time. I might look into getting one for my daughter.
I want one for my daughter! So cute. And Actually does some good.
