Lexar 1GB SD Card
By Momof2Disneyboys onI recently needed to purchase a new memory card for pictures before this year's vacation. So I headed to WalMart thinking I was going to get another one of what I already have. I have a 128 MG SD Card, and it holds about 165 pictures on it when used in my 4 mega-pixel digital camera. Looking around I couldn't find one like it. The only SD Card I saw was the Lexar 1GB SD Card.
I picked up the box and started reading the back. WOW, it looks like this one holds way more pictures than my old one! It doesn't give the exact amount for a 4 mega-pixel camera, but I could tell it was going to hold a lot more. So I bought it! Brought it home and put it in my camera and it holds 760 pictures!!!!! Great news for me, I LOVE taking pictures!
It easily transfers pictures to my computer and works great! The box also says it will hold 243 songs on an MP3 player. I don't have an MP3 so I can't give any personal experience on that, but thought that information might be useful to someone.
Overall a great deal in my opinion!
The price on these larger capacity SD cards has really come down... you almost can't even buy the 128/256 cards anymore in the stores!

Now the price is much lower as the price of electronic goods keeps dropping, just got a 4BGmemory card that can store 4000+ photos, really need those capacity while travelling. Thanks for sharing.
I have this exact card. Isn't it awesome? I can remember when I purchased my first 1gb card and I paid almost $60.00 for it. Compared to the $12.00 for this one, that's crazy! It holds around 800 for my camera too.
I have 2 of these, but caught mine on a clearance sale for $9 each. I should have stocked up on them but stupid me wasn't thinking. They both work wonderfully and one even went through the wash cycle on accident once before and still came out working better then ever.
What a great find! I can't believe how many pics it will store - I'm always having to clear stuff out to make more room so it would be nice to have all the storage space.
Lexar makes some good SD cards. I always look for Lexar!
