Lexar SD Card- So Far So Good
By Joan Young onI bought this card when I bought a camera over two years ago, and its still working well with no errors.
This is a small (256K) SD memory card that I use in my Kodak Easy Share camera. Its only 256 K, but that has been plenty for what I need.It holds over 200 6MB pictures. (Exact number depends on the detail of the pictures of course).
Because I do a lot of work on web sites that involve pictures I am taking it in and out of the camera and card reader almost every day.So it has had a lot of the kind of use that can make these devices fail. But so far I havent had any errors.Im fairly pleased that it has done well with this.I dont know much about cards that are supposed to load faster.I havent found myself being annoyed with the speed of this one.
I believe that these have come down in price quite a bit since I got this one.If you wanted to have a memory card to take on a vacation and have all your pictures on one card, this is probably not a big enough memory size. But Lexar makes sizes at least up to 2GB.They also have a secure Professional 2GB card, and another that is faster. Of course those ones cost a lot more.
The only reason I didnt give it a 5 is because of the low storage size, but it works fine for what I need.
What else can I say... it works great, no errors!

Hmmm, have to get one of these cards for the Digital frame I bought my mother for Christmas - Great price and I think 200 pictures should be plenty for her! Thanks... Lezar SD card - here I come!
