I was looking for a printer and I did not need anything to expensive or fancy as I only useit for generic document use and some occasional faxing. I found a Lexmark X4270 at my local Walmart and was unsure about it but thought I would give it a shot. I found that it is very slow while printing and the print resolution is ok with new cartridges but as they get old only having the single black and color you loose different colors as they age. I printed a best buy item and all the page was discolored from what it should have been. Not a big deal unless you need something for a important presentation or something. All in all this printer is a decent generic printer and I'm happy with it but I dont do a whole lot of printing so it works for me.
