Lexmark All in One Printer

I purchased this Lexmark all in one printer/copier/scanner from Circuit City.I am so unhappy with this printer because the ink cartridges can only be purchased from Circuit City or Lexmark online.I tried many stores to see if there was another print cartridge compatible with this printer and there aren't any.When I went to Circuit City they were out of stock.I then tried to purchase them online at both Circuit City and Lexmark and they were both out of stock.This makes the printer almost impossible to use.The other reason I would not recommend this printer is it has trouble printing anything that is more than one page.It says printing complete when it only prints one page of a multiple page document.The speed of the printer is okay but I've seen better.I would not recommend this product, it's a waste of money.
You know, I have bad luck with whatever printer I have. I usually go to my mother's work and print everything cause they seem to have their crap together. I am sorry to hear about your bad experience.

Aside from the ink availability issues, I have a problem with the prohibitive pricing of the ink cartridges. I have owned 2 different LexMark printer models (not by choice!), and each time the cartridges needed to be replaced, it ended up being less expensive for me to buy a new printer than to buy the cartridges! That's just crazy, IMHO!!!!
Yikes, what a problem! A printer and not being able to even purchase an ink cartirdge for it, that is unreal! I would go with another brand printer that would take name brand and generic cartridges! Thanks for giving us the lowdown on Lexmark!!1
I have always had good luck with HP, I don't think I would ever try a Lexmark! Thanks for writing about your experience with this printer!
I'm nodding my head in agreement because we had the same printer & had the exact same problem!! We now have a HP & I am very happy with it! I'm sorry about your hassles with it!
