I purchased this Lexmark all in one printer/copier/scanner from Circuit City. I am so unhappy with this printer because the ink cartridges can only be purchased from Circuit City or Lexmark online. I tried many stores to see if there was another print cartridge compatible with this printer and there aren't any. When I went to Circuit City they were out of stock. I then tried to purchase them online at both Circuit City and Lexmark and they were both out of stock. This makes the printer almost impossible to use. The other reason I would not recommend this printer is it has trouble printing anything that is more than one page. It says printing complete when it only prints one page of a multiple page document. The speed of the printer is okay but I've seen better. I would not recommend this product, it's a waste of money.

You know, I have bad luck with whatever printer I have. I usually go to my mother's work and print everything cause they seem to have their crap together. I am sorry to hear about your bad experience.

Aside from the ink availability issues, I have a problem with the prohibitive pricing of the ink cartridges. I have owned 2 different LexMark printer models (not by choice!), and each time the cartridges needed to be replaced, it ended up being less expensive for me to buy a new printer than to buy the cartridges! That's just crazy, IMHO!!!!
Yikes, what a problem! A printer and not being able to even purchase an ink cartirdge for it, that is unreal! I would go with another brand printer that would take name brand and generic cartridges! Thanks for giving us the lowdown on Lexmark!!1
I have always had good luck with HP, I don't think I would ever try a Lexmark! Thanks for writing about your experience with this printer!
I'm nodding my head in agreement because we had the same printer & had the exact same problem!! We now have a HP & I am very happy with it! I'm sorry about your hassles with it!
