Reviewing: Lexmark X9350
Purchased at: Staples

I am very happy with our las-minute purchase of the Lexmark X9350 for my family's home office. I say last-minute because normally I would have spent a lot more time researching printers, prices, quality and stores. But our printer which was five years old finally died and we needed a printer immediately. Even though the salesman at Staples was pushing me to purchase an HP printer, I was leaning towards the Lexmark. I was happy with the print quality of my old Lexmark, and of the print samples on the Lexmark X9350. I also knew that I could use Lexmark with both a Mac and a PC, because that is what we have in the house. I was happy to take the Lexmark X9350 home and try it out. There wasn't much risk involved because Staples gave us a trial period. The only thing I don't like about the Lexmark X9350 is the small paper tray. It's just a minor inconvenience, though. This printer prints very fast, and the settings do not kick out when we switch the cable from a PC to a Mac. It also has a scanner. We have not used the fax or the networking capabilities yet. The ink has decent life, too, since I am not running out every week to buy some. I also like that I can find the ink for the Lexmark X9350. This is a great buy for a home office, and it can go wireless if you need it too.
