I purchased this phone as an upgrade from my previous LG phone, the 8300. I loved my 8300 and never really wanted to let it go but it stopped working, so I had to!

The 8700 is a very sleek phone. It's best quality is the overall attractiveness of the phone. The brushed metal exterior gives it a very professional look with a certain "cool factor" without being overtrendy.

Reception is great, so is battery life. I've had this phone for about a month and I can usually go about three days with heavy usage before I need to charge it. It has a big beautiful color screen. The buttons at first seemed a little RAZR like, but after using this phone for a while I got very used to them.

All in all a very solid phone. Definitely one of the best that Verizon has out there right now.
