License To Wed Is Hilarious By Melissa on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I am not a huge fan of the newer Robin Williams' films so I wasn't sure if I would like this movie. My friend kept telling me to watch this movie so I did. It stars Robin Williams, Mandy Moore, and John Krasinski. I am a fan of the show "The Office" which John Krasinski stars in, so I was looking forward to seeing him in the movie.

The movie is about a couple who just got engaged, Sadie Jones (Mandy Moore) and Ben Murphy (John Krasinski). Sadie wants to get married at the church which her parents were married at and in order to do this, they have to go through a marriage course and pass it. The course usually takes 3 months but the only wedding date open until 2 years was 3 weeks away from the engagement, so the course was forced to fit into 3 weeks.

The course is adminstered by Reverend Frank (Robin Williams) and he is not like much Reverends. The course is a lot different than most other courses and the way Reverend Frank handles it is hilarious. Reverend Frank bugs their apartment so he makes sure that they do not have premarital sex before the wedding date which is one of the course's rules. There are sooo many funny scenes in this movie. It is a romantic comedy.

My favorite scene is when Sadie & Ben are given two robot babies to take care. The babies look real, well sort of, the face on the babies is very scary. Well the babies are just like any other baby and they pee, poop, cry, etc... Well they end up taking the babies to go out to go register for their wedding. Last minute, one of Ben's friends needs Ben to watch his 2 year old twin boys. So they end up taking the 4 kids and the scene is hilarious. I don't want to give too much information cause I don't want to ruin the movie, but this is a hilarious movie and a must-see!!
