License to Wed Looked Great in the Previews

I love Robin Williams and when I saw the previews for License to Wed I couldn't wait to see it. The previews looked hilarious. Also the movie seemed to be more of a comedy, even though it was about a relationship. After watching License to Wed I have to admit I was a bit disappointed.

License to Wed is funny. But, 99% of the funny parts were shown in the previews. The rest of the movie plays out like a romantic comedy. Don't get me wrong, I love romantic comedies, but License to Wed was marketed as a regular comedy.

The movie was still good and had a great ending, but I just hate watching a movie where you've seen all the good parts hundreds of times in previews. The rest of the movie just seemed like filler. I also hated that Robin Williams wasn't in the movie very much. He truly made this movie worth watching, so the rest of the movie was a bit disappointing.

The DVD doesn't offer many special features, that's why I suggest renting this film rather than buying it.
