Life The Most Notorious Crimes In American History By Brandy Norton on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I bought this LIFE book back in Feburary of this year. It has 144 pages from front to back. I am not a person who likes to read alot. I never have been. And I think this book is aweson. The details and pictures kept me interested.

There are 50 crimes told in here that shooked the nation. Here are afew of them, The Draft Riots of 1863, The Oklahoma Bombing, The Saint Valentine's Massacre, The Mountain Meadows Massacre (that one got me), Psycho, and Jimmy Hoffa, just to name a few.

Alot of these stories I have never heard of before. But, I thought every single story in the book was interesting. So, if you like reading about the past, and are fascinated with the dark side of american history, like I am, you will love this book.

Most of the storys are not for the faint of heart.

I am a ghoul...obviously, I have this thing about discovering the oddities in life that cause people to do the things they do sometimes...I would probably sit down and view this from cover to cover and then want to learn more about the stories involved...it sounds interesting and of course deals with human emotions big time...thanks for the info

I am glad someone else thinks like me. Plus I think it helps to know the bad just as much as the good, because it helps you to understand human nature. Maybe you can look a person and hear them talk, then think okay, I'm going to keep my eye on them. Something isn't right with how they are, because most of these cases, the victims did not have a clue it was coming.
