Light Flavorable Swiss Chocolate By BillF on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Frey les pranlines Mouse Stracciatella is made in Switzerland. Stracciatella means "Italian ice cream with chocolate shavings" according to Wikepedia. It contains 44% cocoa and about 30 of the candies fit in a 150 gram box. Many chocolates are around 10-12 % cocoa and usually max out in the low 40%, thus 44% is a very high concentration which I feel contributes to the strong flavor. It is wrapped like double size tootsie roll for a good bite size peice. The flavor is excellent, not too sweet and very airy and light. There is something very light about the candy which I realy enjoy. One candy makes you feel like you had something but not that bad for calories if you just stop at one. If you are a big fans of chocolcates in moderation , they do have some definite heart benifits according to a number of studies especially dark chocolates. So far, I have showed great self control in only having one per day of this excellent europen chocolate.
