Light Up My Way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By Geralyn Hydock on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

What better way to light your way at night than with a set of exterior garden lights. We purchased a set of solar powered lights and set them in our garden. Awaiting for them to light up when the sun went down, we were extremely disappointed. They took forever to come on and they were very dim. Needless to say, we took them back to the store. Initially, we had looked at a set which needed to be plugged in to an outlet but decided against them. Thinking over the situation, we decided that the electric ones would possibly work better. Am I ever glad we bought them as they provide an excellent source of light along the edges of my gardens.

The kit comes with four lawn floodlightss with a power pack/timer and cable. You can set your lights to go on and off whenever you want them to do so. There are 12 volt fixtures which take 50 watt bulbs. The housings are durable cast metal the light casings are a durable black plastic. You also get a 100 foot cable in the set. The company even gives you a five year warranty.

These lights make your outdoor settings beautiful, liveable, and enjoyable. You can use the ground level accent lighting for foliage, garden paths, patios, fountains, statues, and more. They provide beautiful eye appeal day or night. Installation is easy and requires no hard wiring. They operate with long lamp life bulbs and use little energy.

Our Malibu light set is well designed and well made. Wire length is excellent and the quick connect is easy to do and constructs a solid circuit. The quick connect feature includes two locking pieces that make the set up quite simple for even an amateur. We love our lights, they look so beautiful when they are lit up at night. We recommend them to all home owners who need to light their ways.

I have the set of Malibu lights and love the way they softly lit an extended winding pathway to my front door. They lend such a welcoming air to anyone's home at such an affordable price:)

This is what I want. Went with the solar lights and you are right, they don't light up very much and sometimes mine don't even light at all! Thanks

Sounds like a great set of lights. I wondered how the electric ones compared with the solar ones as a friend has some solar and they are not very bright. Like the timer option on these.

We tried solar power lights in the past as well and had poor results. Since then, we have always gone for electric ones.
