Reviewing: Laura Geller Illuminizing Color Wash
Purchased at: Qvc     Price: $11.50 USD

To give yourself a quick make-over that will take a few years off your apparent age, just smooth Laura Geller's Illuminizing Color Wash over your entire face.Your skin will look smooth and younger, as the light-diffusing ingredients "simply banish lines and shadows." according to product literature and my own experience.

This 1 ounce tube of a little light miracle comes in two shades: Mystic Pink, a soft rose, and Sunkissed, a light bronze. That lack of selection is my only real complaint about this product; there are women for whom neither of these shades will work, and I hope Laura is working to add additional shades.I use Mystic Pink; I have very fair skin with pink undertones. The smooth product, which contains apricot kernel oil, jojoba seed oil, and macadamia oil, among other ingredients both chemical and organic, moisturizes skin while giving it the look of an inner glow, or "a hint of luminosity."Illuminizing Color Wash doesn't actually make my skin look pink; it just lights it up.I wear it over foundation (or tinted moisturizer), and personally choose to use it instead of blush, although I apply it all over my face. You can use a blush or bronzer over it if you choose.

The price of $11.50 is manageable for most budgets, and the tube of Illuminizing Color Wash lasts a long time.I gave it less than a 5 only because it is only really effective on lighter toned skins.

You're a QVC gal too huh?! I wanted to get this & your last statement is right-the shades would not work for me at all unfortunately...I bet it looks beautiful on you!!! Have you tried the new tinted Spackle?!

So you put this on after you apply foundation? I wonder if it would work for me with my mineral makeup. I think it's too bad they don't offer more color choices. Not everyone has fair skin!

I've used a similar product and loves the way it lights up and relaxes your face. Skin illumination is the next big thangy in anti-aging so this is right there in the forefront of the pack. And.. it is alot less expensive.
