I saw this item on QVC one day and thought it might be a great item for our larger bathroom. The host said it would eliminate odors and at the same time you would have a night light. That seemed like a great duo to me and when I'm bored and sleepy a lot of things sound good to me!
This Ionic Air Cleaner/Freshener with the Light does a good job of making the air smell very clean. It will freshen the air in an area up to 200 sq.ft. and I know my bathroom is not THAT big!! Cleaning the ionic bars of dust is easy, not that I've had much to clean. I'm not sure if that means I keep my bathroom very clean or it's just not the dustiest room in our house.
The light is great and has just enough of a glow to guide you from the hallway in the middle of the night. This cleaner is very quiet as it works without a fan and you never need to replace a filter. The entire unit only measures 8-1/2" long by 3-1/4" wide by 2-1/4" deep. It's lightweight and would be very easy to take from room to room if you wanted.
Unfortunately this unit takes up the entire outlet so I need to unplug it in the morning to use the hair dryer and curling iron. This would be my only complaint about using this. It could have been better designed to use only one outlet.
My sister in law, also a QVC junkie, bought this for their 5th wheel and we had a good laugh when we found out we both had bought the same thing!!

I like the fact that is does have a light on it, I hate trying to make my way to the bathroom in the middle of the night and hope I don't trip and re injure my back :S I will check this out for sure.
I like the fact that it lights up because I always have a night light on in the bathroom, but it would also bother me if I had to unplug it to use my hair dryer or straightener.
This sounds like a good idea for my bathrm that has no fan. We plug a mini lamp thingie in the bathrm outlet anyway. Thanks for the inspiration =)
The place where I live has very limited choices for air purifiers and most are expensive. I hope there's one like that here...
this would be good for the cats we have that can cause the house to have some odors.
