Since my son turned 4, naptime has been a battle. He thinks he does not need naps anymore but his mommy disagrees. He received this CD Player/Radio as a gift and it has worked wonders for his naptime routine!
It sits up on his headboard and he goes to sleep listening to his favorite CD's. The CD player is easy for him to operate himself and works great! There is an antenna that comes up from the back, a LED display on the top showing what track the CD is on, control buttons on base of the windshield, and each side has a dial. One dial controls volume and one radio tuning (AM/FM). The speakers are in the back wheels and they can be tilted out for better sound quality. The sound quality isn't bad for such a small and relatively inexpensive unit, although we usually have it very low. It so far has survived 4 months with a 4 year old so the durability is good as well. There is no remote control for this unit. It looks great and makes a wonderful addition to our Cars themed bedroom!

This is a great idea for making nap time go smoothly! My grandkids always have the radio or a cd on and it makes nap time very relaxing. What a great idea for a little boy's room!
Oh wow this is so cute! I have never seen this before. What a great way to help with your son's naptime though. I've babysat for many of my little cousins and they aboslutely hated naptime, it would have been nice to have something like this to help them. :o) And the Cars theme too, that makes it like 100 times cooler!
