The Fisher-Price Lights and Sounds baby monitor has been ok. It had been working really well for us. Recently we had a snow storm, with a few power surges. Since then, it has been a bit fuzzy sounding. Before this, we had no problems. The sound was clear, and I could hear everything my little ones were doing. I really like the nightlight on the main base for the babies room. It's very soothing, so I feel it helps with sleep and my twins don't wake up in the dark scared. I have used the one monitor with the batteries, and was impressed with the way it worked. I didn't notice any difference from using the batteries to the plug in. I probably would not buy this product again.
