Lights and sounds monitor

The Fisher-Price Lights and Sounds baby monitor has been ok.It had been working really well for us.Recently we had a snow storm, with a few power surges.Since then, it has been a bit fuzzy sounding.Before this, we had no problems.The sound was clear, and I could hear everything my little ones were doing.I really like the nightlight on the main base for the babies room.It's very soothing, so I feel it helps with sleep and my twins don't wake up in the dark scared.I have used the one monitor with the batteries, and was impressed with the way it worked.I didn't notice any difference from using the batteries to the plug in.I probably would not buy this product again.
