We have all experienced those instances when the lights go out due to a storm or accident. Yes, one can use candles but they are extremely hazardous to have aflame in the dark. No need to worry anymore with the Coleman Table Lamp. It looks just like a miniature lamp. It is easy to maintain and to operate. No need to worry about starting a fire in your home. The body is made of durable plastic and it takes four c cell batteries. The lamp can run up to eighteen hours on one set of batteries. It is very easy and safe for use by children. The light provides just the right amount of light coverage for an average sized room. So when the lights go out, grab your Coleman Table Lamp and be rest assured to be safe and sound in your home. This company is a highly regarded brand and has been around for many years. Try it for yourself , you will not be disappointed.

Thanks all for your comments! These little lanterns are great to set on an end table, dining room table , night table, or in a child's room when the lights go out. My kids love them. If I misses voting for anyone please let me know and I will do so. Thanks Geri

I've seen these. They actually last so long on one set of batteries!?

We have many Coleman products. They are very reliable and great for uses other than camping.

I never thought to use one of these when you lose electricity. Years ago we used these for camping but I automatically think candles when the lights go out. Thanks for the great idea.

My husband works nights so I hate being alone with the kids at night when it is storming. I always worry about using candles or kerosine lanterns. I will definetly take a look this! Thanks!

I live in a rural area and we have more power outages than I'd care to think about right now! I have a Coleman lantern in practically every room, and they do give me such peace of mind. I keep one by my bed in case the power goes off in the middle of the night so I won't have to get up and fumble around in the dark.

I love to use the Coleman gas lantern and grills ... But I was very dissatisfied with the Coleman electric table lamp... I personally didn't think it was one of their better efforts... But it is child safe and great for beginning junior campers...

We won't appreciate this thing until emergency strikes

I have one of these and it has come in handy more than a few times. We bought it for camping but here in Cali, the land of rolling blackouts, we have used it at home several times.
