I remember lincoln logs, with fond memories. So, I was glad to find that they still make these wonderful building toys!
My children love these, and we have more than one set of lincoln logs in this house. The Big L Ranch set was one of my favorites though. Yes, it's a set with a fairly specific goal in mind (as to what to do with the pieces, and what to create), but my kids have made all kinds of things with the pieces included in this one set (which comes with roofs, a couple ranch character figurines, etc.).
Building with blocks, legos, and lincoln logs, is great for their imagination and fine motor skills. Plus, it's a heck of a lot of fun. I remember all the things I used to make with MY lincoln logs and other building toys.
These are wonderful, and well worth the money in my opinion!
