Linksys 5 Port Hub By tribefan on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is pretty generic 5 port switch from Walmart, but it works just like it should. It has 5 ports for computers, and one for an uplink (internet). There are also lights on the front, revealing any activity and the speeds you are connected at. I've been using it for the past week to network 2 computers, and haven't had a problem. I like that it's smaller than I thought it would be, and it doesn't get too warm. However, it only supports 10/100 Mbps, and most switches nowdays support 10/100/1000 Mbps. Also, the power block is kind of large, and blocks one of the outlets on my power strip. Overall, a switch is a switch, and this one works fine, but you might be able to find one that supports higher speeds for about the same price.

This is the same switch I use and I love it...it was cheap and works great for us. I agree with you tho about it blocking another plug in on the power strip, that stinks!
