Linksys PAP2 Phone Adapter

Have you ever bought anything and had that feeling you should not have as you drove home with it in your trunk? Well that is exactly how I felt when I purchased this Linksys Phone adapter to use for my newly acquired Vonage phone system. The adapter had nothing but troubles from the start. My linksys Router (didn't have phone ports as I was not aware I would be using Vonage in the future) and this adapter did not play well together even though they shared the same name. Instead of have a cheap and reliable phone service, I ended up getting an overpriced paperweight to sit in my living room. YOu would plug the phone cords into say PHONE 1 jack on the adapter and the only light that would remain on was the PHONE 2 Jack... In fact you remove all cables and Phone 2 still remains lit. We found ourselves constantly having to reset adapter as it would malfunction and knock our cable internet off line. Overall this piece of expensive equipment would not be wished upon my worst enemies... well okay maybe my absolute worst, but I would feel bad about it. Stay away from this item! Buyer beware.
