Linksys Router

We were tired of fighting over the computer with my two daughters so we went out and bought each of them a laptop.Then we had to go out and get a router so we could all get on the internet at the same time.We decided to get the Linksys Gateway router.It worked straight out of the box with its default settings.The router has a built in firewall and dozens of security settings to keep unwanted people out of your network and has four Ethernet ports in the back for wired connections.

As soon as we got the router we start noticing that if we had two wireless connections on at the same time it would loose the internet connection.It would work some of the time then there were times that we couldn't be on for more than a minute before it would drop the connection.So I had kids screaming at me all the time that the internet was down. We were not sure if it was the router or are cable connection.So we had the cable company came out and they checked all our wires and also are connection from the pole and everything was okay on their end.

The router works fine if it is one desktop computer on and one laptop but this is causing tons of fight over who gets to be on the laptop and I am so sick of everyone fighting and complaining about itthat I am going to buya new one this weekend.
