This router is likely the best there is!I purchased this router a few years back and it has been working solidly since.While some routers might be cheaper, it would be wise to snag one of these during a sale or their successors such as the WRT54GL.With vast cutomizability in regards to firm way, this unit outstrips a variety of Dlink and SMC competitors.As well, firmware upgrades to this unit make it better than when it first came out of the box.The reliability of this router is first rate as well, as it rarely goes down if ever.The wireless is of some concern however as it operates on a 2.4Ghz frequency.This quite simply means that any cordless phones in the home which are 2.4Ghz may serve to detriment the effectiveness of the wireless networking features.Overall a great buy!
