Old isn't so bad. I remember using Listerine when I was a little girl and all through high school. My mother only bought Listerine. At that time there was only one Listerine, the gold colored mouthwash. It was pretty harsh! I remember the taste back then. I think for a kid it was a bit much. My teeth always felt fresh though.

Through the years I have tried several different flavored Listerine mouthwashes and a couple other brands. I always favored the Listerine products.

In the last year, I have gone back to old tradition....original Listerine. It just seems like the original is more antiseptic with cleaning and freshening power. I can deal with harsh. I guess I'm just tired of all the new mouthwashes on the market. The colors and sweetness are not for me.

Listerine (original) was my mother's favorite and mine too. This is a product that has stood the test of time. Listerine is plain and simply the best for me. No more sweet taste for me!
