Listerine Cool Mint PocketPaks Breath Strips

I love minty things.It's very rare that you'll find me without a roll of mints nearby.However, I've found that many of the breath mints out there are nothing more than glorified candy, and contain a large amount of sugar.When I want a mint, I just want something that will freshen my breath and nothing more.Enter Listerine's Cool Mint PocketPaks breath strips.

Now, I have to say, that the very first time I tried these things, I nearly gagged.I was given one as a surprise and told to just place it on my tongue.I did that and closed my mouth, and the thing promptly adhered itself to the roof of my mouth.I was not expecting that, and it freaked me out.I didn't know what the thing was, or why it stuck itself to the top of my mouth, but I did know that it it had a very strong minty flavor.

Once I was over the initial panic and allowed the breath strip to dissolve, I really enjoyed it.It was far more powerful than a normal candy-type mint, and there was no chewing or crunching involved.In addition, the plastic package was very small and convenient, and was much easier to tuck into a pocket than a large roll of mint candies.

A couple of notes, though, if you leave these in a hot, humid area such as inside your car, the individual strips may have a tendency to stick together.Also, if you leave these in your pocket and run them through a wash cycle, the breath strips will completely dissappear.

All in all, once I was over the shock of my first encounter with these, I've become a very big fan of them, and I use them on a regular basis.
