lite on dvd recorder

I had bought this lite on dvd recorder from qvc cause I thought it would be kinda great to record movies off the tv. Well I never use it so it was a waste of money. But I figure I would go ahead and write a review about it. It is ok dvd player. I can use it like it is advertised very easy to record this would be the type of recorder to get for dummies. Everything is explain right on the screen so even if you lose the instructions that is ok. But i have a few dislikes .I noticed that when it is turned on the quality of the tv shows are not as great. Which makes a hassle cause we have to make sure it stays off . (unplugged ) When I was just turning the power off that was working for a little while. Then all the sudden it started turned on all by itself. Which I find to be a pain because I never keep that remote by me so I would get up to turn it off. And again it is back on. I'm not sure whats going on with this recorder but it is annoying . So we have to keep it unplugged. That is not that big of a problem. Just when something would come on tv that I would want to record I would to hook it all back up again. I would recommend this to people and hope theirs works better then mine does and stay off when it is suppose to .
