This Little, Brown and Company Megan Tingley Book set is absolutely fantastic. In a carrying case with handle, you get three board books and a sing-along tape. The books are The Lady with the Alligator Purse, Miss Mary Mack, and Skip to My Lou!
The Lady with the Alligator Purse and Skip to My Lou was adapted and illustrated by Nadine Bernard Westcott. Miss Mary Mack was adapted by Mary Ann Hoberman and illustrated by Ms. Westcott.
These books are rated for children ages 0-5. They are thick-coated board books and are colorfully illustrated. Each is highly interactive. Your child will learn the rhymes as songs and be singing along in no time. Early word association can also be achieved with this set.
Sing with me, "Miss Mary Mack, Mack, Mack, All dressed in black, black, black..." Who could resist such a fun little ditty? I know you sang along, your child would too!
The carry along case provides storage for all the books and the tape. I wish the tape were a CD though, as tape players are few and far between in this house. Plus a tape is not easily advanced or re-winded for repeated playing. The fact the set comes with a tape and not a CD is the only downside.
I truly recommend this delightful sing-along board book set by Little, Brown and Company: Megan Tingley Books. You won't be disappointed and your child will love them!

This sounds really cute. You should ask around among your computer friends. Someone can probably put that tape on a CD for you.
I love this set! Children learn best by happy repition, especially through singing. Little Brown has done an exellent job with these ditties.
