Little Cricket's Song By a-w-omyn on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This book is beautifully illustrated, by Claudine Gevry. There are many animals in the meadow, forest, by the pond, etc. And, they all help these two little crickets to create beautiful music.

The crickets on the book are made of plastic, and are attached to the last page, peeking through all the previous pages through cut outs around them.

The crickets make a chirping/clicking sound when they are pushed by little ones.

My youngest loved it, her sister loved it, I loved that it kept them occupied while I washed the dishes or did laundry.

It's a fun book, with phrases that rhyme. It's just the right length in my opinion, not so short that it's hardly worth reading, but not too long so as to lose those with shorter attention spans.
