"Little Lady Agency" by Hester Browne is a great book. If you are looking for something "deep", this is not the book for you. If you're looking for something lighthearted and funny, then give this book a try.
The main character, Melissa Romney-Jones, gets fired from her job, and just can't seem to get on her feet, until she comes up with a great idea for a new business. Her father is a member of Parliament, so she decides to create a new persona so that she won't embarrass him with her escapades. She puts on a blonde wig, and the next thing you know, she's "Honey", a major babe that the men just love.
As Honey, Melissa helps men with everything from makeovers, purchasing gifts for them, and even attending parties as a "date" (with NO funny stuff). Everything is going swimmingly until she meets a special American client.
My favorite part of the book is when Melissa transforms herself into Honey. It's amazing what a blonde wig, some nylons and a wiggle can do for her. It makes me want to give it a try and put a little wiggle into MY step to see what happens!
I love the way she begins switching from one persona to the other. I would never be able to keep them straight!
I really enjoyed this book, and think that you would too. Enjoy!
