Little Superstar Sing Along Stage By Kilraven on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My wife and I picked this up for our ten-month old for Christmas. Turns out this is her favorite toy. She plays with this thing for about ten minutes at a time, which, at her age and curiousity, is pretty spectacular.

This stage has four musical instruments embedded into it: guitar, horn, drum, piano keys. It also has a detachable microphone that's actually a rattle. The are four lights that illuminate with the music, and a mirror for your child to watch themselves as they sing. It has two volume settings and two modes, one is more like Karaoke while the other has the lyrics. The music is triggered by pressing the keys or drum, sliding the horn's lever, rolling the guitar's ball, or rattling sounds (presumably from the detachable rattling mic). It came with about 5 or 6 cardboard cards containing written lyrics to the songs it plays. Unfortunately, the cards are cardboard and easily lost; hence, why I said 5 or 6 because we lost the things.

Overall, it's a pretty good toy to have. It stays out of the way, isn't too obnoxiously loud, and stays balanced to the weight of an awkwardly standing kid.

I've not seen this toy. My youngest is going to be 2 so I'm not sure if this would be for her age or not. I'm going to have to look it up at the store.
