My daughter loves to play with her littlest pet shop. She is ten and let me tell you I really don't think that there is an age cap with these little cute animals. This is the perfect gift for children 4 and up. They are little bobble head animals. My daughter got the birthday pack for her last birthday and that put her collection over 80 littlest pet shop animals. Believe it or not there is well over a hundred and they are always adding more. She likes them because they are small enough to carry with her. She takes them on most road trips. These are some of the cutest toys out there. She has the twin pandas, a ferret , pirate parrot and many more. Like anything else there are rare ones out there and they are extremely hard to find. The littlest pet shop pets are around $4.50 and the sets start at 7.99 and go up to 45.99. I believe if you have a child that loves cute animals then this the perfect gift for them.
