Live At Leeds Deluxe Edition By Ntmanning on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I recently received the Live At Leeds [Deluxe Edition] by The Who CD for Christmas and I am just blown away by the songs and the quality of audio. The original Live At Leeds was released before the Who's Next album, so no Baba O'Riley or Won't Get Fooled again, but contains all of The Who's earlier hits as well as some covers of other songs. The standout song from the album is a 15 minute long My Generation, and the first CD ends right after My Generation with an extended Magic Bus. This is a two disk set in a very classy and attractive CD case design, the first CD is all the early music pre-Who's next, and the second disk is the entire live performance of Tommy. The audio quality is astounding for an album that was recorded LIVE, over 30 years ago. This is a must have album for any fan of The Who, I only wish that The Kids Are Alright album was as good as this because it contains songs from Who's Next.
