This was a gift for my granddaughter,whos loves all living things. Enclosed is a treehouse, a mail order form, and an activity guide on how to take care of the butterflies(caterpillars). You have to send away for the live caterpillars (5) and food,this is at a cost of $6.00. Also limited shipping only to the USA. The cylinder treehouse is 10.25in. x10.25inx16in. It has a snap to hold the cylinder closed when not in use. Ages 4+
When you get your caterpillars, and put them in their treehouse, they will eat their food and grow to ten times their size. They then go to sleep upside down in their cocoons. When they exit their cocoons they will be beautiful painted butterflies. You keep them afew days and then release to the outside world. You can also order more once these have been released.
My granddaughter will probably not want to let them go,we did another kit like this with lady bugs and she kept them til they expired. She loves living things ,but can't part with them either. Update to follow when we get the caterpillars.
They have hatched from their cocoons and released to the outdoors and flowers.
