Lladro... An elegant figurine

I am soooo not a knick-knack kind of person, let alone figurines!However when we received this Lladro as a wedding gift I was blown away.It wasn't anything we registered for and other than this I don't even own a figurine.Like I said it was a wedding gift, which gives it special meaning, and to make it even more special it was a gift from my dad.
The figurine is named "Happy Anniversary" and it's year of origin is 1997.The couple stands 121/2" by 81/4".I looked up the price and was shocked at how much it costs, however it is a collectible and will gain value as the years go by.The attention to detail is incredible, and it looks absolutly stunning in our mirror backed hutch.
This isn't your everyday purchase but if you are looking for that truly special wedding or anniversary gift I would take this into consideration.It is a timeless piece and will hold its value through the years.This may be the only figurine I own but it is definitly NOT aknick-knack!
I adore LLadro. Their pieces reflect all the grace and artistry of their craft. Each piece created means something intensely personal to the artist. How fortunate you are to have been gifted with one of their better known works.
