Lloyd: Street Love

Lloyd was never that well known. Lucky for him he came out with a second album that put him on the charts. When I first the single "You" I didn't really like it. Eventually I gave it a second chance and it started to grow on me. It was a lot better than I expected from a unknown artist. Sure he had a album before this one, but how many people have it or heard about it?

I picked up this CD online and wasn't fully sure what to expect. Street Love didn't really live up to the high standards I set for it. It had some good tracks and some others that weren't really attention grabbing at all. "You" and "Get it Shawty", both singles from the album, were still amazing and stood out.

Another track that stood out was "Player's Player". Besides that all the tracks were decent, but none are special enough to mention. He is worth a listen, but I'm still not sure if I got my money's worth.
