In my opinion the Logitech Desktop Microphone is a simple design that works at a very efficient rate for how inexpensive the microphone is. At only $20.00 (It is much cheaper and often seen on sale at Electronics shops such as Best Buy, Circuit City etc., check the ads!) it works very well. I use on a fairly frequent basis and overall the sound quality is average. But if you think about how little you're paying for a microphone, the quality compared to the price is superb. But, keep in mind this isn't a top of the line microphone, but you don't pay a top of the line price so it's all good. The microphone pivots so you can aim it at your mouth, this makes it easy to put the microphone on your desk and talk while working on your computer. It's a simple yet effective design.
